Frequently Asked Questions

Booking & Sessions

Q: How do I book a session?
A: You can book using my online enquiry form or by emailing me directly. I’ll get back to you to chat through availability and what you’re looking for.

Q: Where do the photo sessions take place?
A: I currently offer outdoor sessions or relaxed sessions in your home, depending on what suits you and your dog best.

Q: How long does a session last?
A: Most sessions last between 45 minutes and 1.5 hours. I work at your dog’s pace, so there’s no rushing if they need breaks or time to settle.

Q: Can I be in the photos with my dog?
A: Absolutely. I love capturing the connection between dogs and their people, and you’re very welcome to be part of the session.

Your Dog's Comfort

Q: What if my dog is shy or overly energetic?
A: That’s completely fine. I work with all personalities and take the time to let dogs relax and be themselves. I use patience, play, and treats where appropriate to help them feel comfortable.

Q: Does my dog need to be trained or obedient?
A: Not at all. I’m used to working with dogs of all ages and training levels, and some of the best photos come from dogs just being dogs.

Q: My dog can't be off-lead, can we still do the shoot?
A: Yes, absolutely. Your dog’s safety always comes first. Leads can be discreetly edited out during post-processing where needed.

After the Session

Q: How many photos will I receive?
A: This depends on the package you choose. I’ll share full details beforehand, and you’ll also have the option to purchase additional images after the session.

Q: When will I get my photos?
A: You’ll receive your edited photos within 2-3 weeks of the session.

 Pricing & Policies

Q: How much does a session cost?
A: Full pricing and package details are available on my Pricing page.

Q: What if it rains or I need to cancel?
A: I offer flexible rescheduling for bad weather or unexpected issues. I just ask for at least 48 hours’ notice where possible.

Q: Do you photograph other pets?
A: Yes. I’m happy to photograph cats, rabbits, or other pets too. If you’re unsure, just drop me a message and we can chat it through.
